How Do you Calculate the square footage of your roof?

There are some free tools available online that will estimate the square footage of your roof.

If you live in a populated area you can use our instant roof estimator that uses satellite imagery to measure your roof!

You can also use tools like Roofr, Eagleview, or Roof Scope to order an aerial measurement report for your roof! This reports range in cost from $25-$100 and are usually very accurate.

You can also do it the old fashioned way and measure a roof with a tape measure. If you need any help doing that checkout this article from Owens Corning on how to measure your roof.

What Type Of Roofing Materials Do You Want?

There are many different types of roofing materials that are available for your roofing project.

Asphalt shingles, concrete tile, stone coated steel, metal, TPO, EPDM, and composite roofing tiles are all an option!

Asphalt shingles are installed on about 98% of residential dwellings in the USA. They come in many different colors and styles and they are very affordable.

Concrete tile, stone coated steel, and metal are all great options that have a long lifetime. They can be 2-5x the cost of asphalt shingles depending on the product.

TPO and EPDM are most commonly used on low-slope or “flat roofs” and can be 3-5 times the cost of asphalt shingles.

Composite roofing materials such as Davinci, Euroshield, and F-Wave are great options in areas with frequent hail storms. These roofing products can be 2-5 times the cost of asphalt shingles depending on the product.
